Bio
Howard Sonnenburg has been composing, designing sound and mixing for over fifteen years. Beginning as a keyboard player with local bands, he scaled the heights of semi-fame with Ottawa band The Haunting. That band lead to a meeting with film director Adrian Langley. Howard became Langley’s composer of choice and has scored all of his short films and features since, in addition to designing all the sound. He has been awarded two Accolade awards for sound for two of Langley’s films: Nightmare and Whiteout. He currently serves as Senior Engineer, and Studio Manager at Atomic Audio in Ottawa, Canada, where he mixes and supervises a number of Television Productions. He is also a member of The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
